Products and orders

• Photos are for reference; colors can vary slightly by screen and batch.
• The configuration you choose on the product page (case, color, firmware, touchpad, roller, kit or assembled) is saved with your order, and that's what we build.
• An order is confirmed once payment succeeds. If something is out of stock, mispriced or can't be built as configured, we'll contact you and you can change the order or get a full refund.
• Kits ship soldered and assembled — no soldering needed. Press in Choc V2 switches and keycaps and you're ready; see the Wiki.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in US dollars, as shown when you order. Struck-through prices are the regular price, for reference.
• Shipping is free on orders of $99 or more; for smaller orders it is shown at checkout ($9.90 for switch-only orders).
• Europe (EU, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), the US, Japan and South Korea: a duties & taxes charge is added at checkout (12% of the order for Europe, 5% for the US, Japan and Korea; none on Korean orders under $150 or Japanese orders under $100, which those countries don't tax). We ship duty-paid: we prepay the full import duties and taxes and cover any difference ourselves, so there's nothing more to pay on delivery.
• Elsewhere, prices don't include destination duties, import VAT or clearance fees, which the buyer pays. See Returns & warranty.
• We currently accept PayPal only.

Shipping

• Orders ship from China. Keyboards are made to order and usually ship within 10–15 business days of payment; an order that includes a keyboard ships together once the keyboard is ready.
• We'll send a tracking number once your order ships. Delivery times depend on customs and carriers, so we can't guarantee a delivery date.
• Wireless versions contain lithium batteries and must travel by battery-approved services, which can be slower.
• Please check your shipping details. If a parcel is returned or must be reshipped because of an incorrect address, the buyer pays the extra shipping.

Safety

• Wireless versions contain lithium batteries. Charge at 5 V 1 A, don't leave them charging unattended for long periods, and don't crush, puncture or heat the battery.
• When installing switches, line up the pins and press straight down to avoid bending them.
• Keyboards contain small parts. Keep them away from young children.

The Designer

• The online Designer is free and provided as is, without a guarantee that it's always available or error-free.
• Layouts you create are yours. Please check dimensions before sending exported drawings for manufacturing.

Open source and intellectual property

• Some products build on open-source designs. For example, CORNE is based on foostan's Corne (crkbd), used under the MIT / CC BY 4.0 licenses. QMK firmware is GPL-licensed and ZMK is MIT-licensed. Source code and attribution are provided on the product page or in the Wiki.
• Apart from open-source material, the text, photos, trademarks and original designs of cubekb studio on this site are ours and may not be used commercially without permission.
• Third-party brands mentioned here (such as Kailh and Cirque) are used only to describe compatibility and belong to their owners.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost data or time. Nothing here excludes liability that can't be excluded by law, including for personal injury caused by our negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If you're a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country still apply and these terms don't affect those rights.

Changes

We may update these terms. Updated terms apply to orders placed after the update date.
